Overview
Piggyback clamps, saddles, centralisers and spacers
To help with varying offshore operations including pipeline installation and cable laying in the defence, renewables and oil & gas sectors, Balmoral developed a range of auxiliary products including piggyback clamps, riser clamps, centralisers and spacers.
Building on its reputation as a solutions provider Balmoral tailors designs to meet client requirements, consistently delivering quality products that perform as required for the life of project; from a single pipe on pipe to multiple-piece units for multi-pipe/umbilical/cable bundles.
Available in a range of flexible to rigid elastomeric materials, these mouldings can be supplied in a variety of colours to aid identification requirements.
Piggyback clamps are used by the renewables sector to complement a retrofit J-tube solution securing it to the leg of a jacket or platform. Depending on the application and service life, piggyback clamps may be secured by means of strapped or bolted attachments.
Flange protectors
Designed to protect and insulate subsea pipeline and floating hose flange connections, Balmoral flange protectors operate in depths exceeding 3000msw and are formed using two half-shells.
Lightweight and ROV friendly, these products benefit from longitudinal and radial seals which restrict seawater ingress between the covers and are designed for lifetime of field operation.
